No matter who is revealed to be behind the mask each week, the real stars of The Masked Singer are the costumes. Admittedly former footballer and presenter Chris Kamara drew the short straw when it came to his disguise; as was noted at the time, his outfit mainly comprised of what was essentially a white bedsheet for his Ghost get-up.

Largely, though, this series the designers have again outdone themselves. Whatever they’re on, we’d like some of it: just when you think the outfits can’t get any more outrageous, up pop Rubbish and Jacket Potato. Inspired. Tonight, the remaining secret stars perform and hope they won’t be hanging up their foam heads at the end of the show.
