The Colombians have reached the knockout stage on three of the six occasions they have qualified for the finals, including their most recent appearance in 2018. Having faced Uzbekistan in their opening group contest, they will be looking to secure a place in the last 32 here before a final-game showdown with Portugal. However, they can take nothing for granted against the talented African outfit who are looking to make an impact in their first finals since 1974, when the country was known as Zaire. Colombia made a good start to their campaign on Wednesday with a 3-1 victory against Uzbekistan, while DR Congo played out an impressive 1-1 draw against Portugal.
