Review

Gabriel Tate

With ice hockey riding a Heated Rivalry-induced wave, this drama offers a more traditional slant on the sport in the form of a college romance. Smug jock Garrett is failing his courses – could smart music student and budding songwriter Hannah (Ella Bright) offer him assistance?

This slick adaptation of Elle Kennedy’s bestsellers goes through the motions in familiar fashion, from “Dear diary” soul-searching to racy yet coy sex scenes.
