Review

Jack Seale

Michelle Williams isn’t known for raunchy roles, but she firmly overturns that persona in a new comedy with a sense of humour that feels thrillingly unique. She plays New York resident Molly, who reacts to a terminal cancer diagnosis by ditching her husband and setting off to find the sexual fulfilment her old life lacked. Even with that idea as the baseline, the show finds plenty of further ways to say the unsayable.

You’ll either be simply so shocked you switch off, or belly-laughing merrily as Molly’s exploits get ruder and ruder.
