Review

Jack Seale

This fantastic reality challenge show asks pairs of contestants — friends, couples or relatives — to complete a continents panning journey as quickly as possible, on a budget and without stepping aboard a plane.

The races might be suspiciously closely fought but the sights seen, and the way the contest gradually strips away layers of the travellers’ personalities to reveal their complex and vulnerable selves, combine to make the journeys epic, exciting and often emotional.
