All Roman Kemp wants is to do better than his dad Martin did when he was in the tent. It won’t be hard. The Spandau Ballet bassist cooked his buttercream instead of his cupcake mix.

Roman’s joined by comedian Amelia Dimoldenberg, presenter Sarah Beeny and actor Maxine Peake to make fairy cakes, flapjacks and a romantic biscuit showstopper. Not all their bakes are successful, although one person gets a Hollywood handshake and they look like they are having fun, especially when Roman entertains them with surprisingly good impressions of Noel Fielding and Paul Hollywood
