Review

Jack Seale

A drama that is hard to describe without spoiling it, and hard to categorise full stop. Suffice to say that if psychological spookiness is what’s required, here it is in a package as fresh as a new wound.

Jessica Raine is a woman whose habit of waking at the same time every night is disturbing enough, before she becomes linked to a murder case. Peter Capaldi, meanwhile, is terrifying as…well, what is he? You’ll have to watch to find out, but know that this is the role that really brings the actor’s talent for pained, menacing wisdom to fruition. Brrrrrrr.
