More than 56,000 people are expected to take part in the London Marathon tomorrow. Some will be looking to run personal bests, others will be happy just to have made it past the finish line. But they all have a story to tell.

Gabby Logan meets some of the runners as they collect their individual race numbers a few days before the start of the race; everyone from charity runners in fancy dress to elite competitors who will be almost halfway round the 26.2-mile route before most of the entrants have inched over the starting line in Greenwich. It is, as always, the most human race.

  More than 56,000 people are expected to take part in the London Marathon tomorrow. Some will be looking to run personal bests, others will be happy just to have made it past the finish line. But they all have a story to tell.
