Review

Frances Taylor

On paper, comedians trying not to laugh doesn’t seem like the most promising of premises for an entertainment series. And yet, via its international iterations (including the Irish version, hosted by Graham Norton), Last One Laughing has proved to be a curiously strong format. Jimmy Carr hosts, assisted by Roisin Conaty, as a solid line-up of comedians chat and play silly games. If they laugh, they’re out of the competition.
