Review

Vanessa Thorpe

Jeremy Dyson’s drama is a trove of forgotten treats and tidbits that celebrates Bradford’s tenure as City of Culture by summoning up an odd moment from West Yorkshire’s past.

It reunites Dyson’s former colleagues from The League of Gentlemen to tell the story of an encounter between Huddersfield-born Hollywood star, James Mason, played to suave perfection by Mark Gatiss, and a lowly, but knowledgeable admirer.
