Jack Seale

Of the many distressing cases in recent years of pop-culture icons who turned out to be abusers, Rolf Harris is one of the worst in terms of the disconnect between his avuncular public persona and the real, belatedly revealed man.

This Australian documentary sets out how the singer, painter and TV presenter – who in 2014 was convicted of sexually assaulting four underage girls – hid in plain sight, leveraging his fame and popularity to commit brazen crimes against victims who feared their stories would never be believed if they spoke out.

But when one of them saw Harris performing at the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee Concert in 2012, the dam broke.
