Summary
The lives of five young villagers change for ever when a strange and powerful woman arrives, claiming one of them is the child of an ancient prophecy with the power to tip the balance between Light and Dark forever.

Part of the mythology of Robert Jordan’s 14-novel fantasy series from which this drama is adapted is the adage: “The wheel weaves as the wheel wills.” It’s one way of saying “time will tell”, which might be a suitable motto for a series this big and ambitious. The cast is led by Rosamund Pike as Moiraine, one of an elite order of women who can channel supernatural power.
The story begins as she takes a group of five young people on a journey, believing one of them to be the Dragon Reborn, destined either to save humanity or destroy it.
