This glossy, highly produced documentary promises a behind-the-scenes look at the life of Gordon Ramsay and his family. Although, given that it’s made by Ramsay’s TV production company, and he’s credited as an executive producer, the layers are polished before being very precisely peeled back. If you saw either of Netflix’s docs about the Beckhams, you’ll get the idea.

Cameras have followed Gordon for a year as the chef gears up to open his most ambitious restaurant yet in central London. He’s investing £20 million into the venture, and if it were to fail, he says there are no two ways about it: “I’m f***ed”.
