Episode 4: Episode 4

Summary

Frank looks back on his glory days in the 1980s and reflects on his choices. As the facts about the robbery become clearer, Haines and Selforth find an eager new partner in Diane. Shanthi and Jerzy turn against Rani, inadvertently offering an opportunity to the local drug boss. Greg must go above and beyond the call of duty to help his new friends out - whether he wants to or not

Review

David Butcher

There’s something very believable about the way Gabby (Eleanor Tomlinson), the posh influencer with anger issues, flips from being all sweet and touchy-feely to a sweary cow at the turn of a hair. She and goofy lawyer Greg (Stephen Merchant) are still trying to set up that music festival, in between their stints of community service, but it’s a prickly partnership.

So much about the group clearing out the old building has been poisoned by that suitcase of money and now the trio holding onto it spot a way to launder the cash. As always the tone slips from knockabout character comedy to a poignant thriller and back, tonight with a welcome backwash of Orchestral Manoeuvres in the Dark.
