Jane Rackham

Ever since his Riverdance intermission performance stole the show at the 1994 Eurovision Song Contest, Michael Flatley has dazzled audiences around the world with his high-energy, Irish dancing-inspired productions. At one point his feet were insured for £45 million.

However, as we discover in this biographical documentary, his life has been one of pinnacles and troughs. Through interviews and archive footage, we learn of his humble beginnings, his unceremonious firing from Riverdance in 1995, which left him broke, his resurgence with a new spectacular — Lord of the Dance — and his battle with cancer in 2003.
