In The Bear we’ve seen the obsessive detail and unrelenting dedication needed to acquire a Michelin star. This eight-part series, made by Gordon Ramsay’s production company, is the real thing. It charts chefs chasing the accolade, including 29-year-old Dae Kim. He’s the Carmy of New York restaurant Noksu, whih is facing challenges from huge bills and a recent scathing review.

Host Jesse Burgess hops around some of the finest establishments in the city, but you really want to feast on an entire series dedicated to this trendy, tense eatery.
