New powers are in charge for the third season of this dystopian drama. Now, everything has changed. Following Silo 18’s rebellion and the downfall of Tim Robbins’s mayor Bernard Holland, The Pact is being rewritten and democracy is in action – but one key figure is being influenced in a dangerous way. Meanwhile, after literally playing with fire at the end of season two, Juliette (Rebecca Ferguson) has lost her memory – including all traces of her journey to Silo 17 and her discovery of the deadly Safeguard. Now the narrative she’s being fed doesn’t quite add up…

This is the penultimate season of Silo and it’s now tackling two different timelines. Juliette’s story continues, but we also travel back to the “Before Times” with some new faces, including congressman Daniel (Ashley Zukerman) and journalist Helen (Jessica Henwick). This is a pair who were key to building the silos, as it was hinted at last season, but they must now grapple with a deadly threat facing the US and a tragedy that hits close to home.

The key question at the heart of this show – what happened to force humanity under ground? – is still a mystery, but is the truth finally about to bubble to the surface?
