Anna Jones
Helen Zaltzman, probably best known for her high-brow-but-funny podcast series The Allusionist, does not immediately strike one as a Spice Girls fan, nor does her husband, Martin Austwick. But they have managed to weave the line “friendship never ends” from the Girls’ Wannabe into a documentary on a fight over the ownership of a font (Dove) between two 19th-century titans of print.
This approach turns the concept of historical documentaries on its head.
