Featuring more lace and taffeta than you can shake a bejewelled sceptre at, this fluffy documentary tells you everything you might reasonably want to know about the wedding dress worn by Lady Diana Spencer when she married Prince Charles in 1981. It was designed by British fashionistas Elizabeth and David Emanuel, who both crop up to reminisce about the biggest commission of their lives (Elizabeth screamed with delight when she got the call from Diana herself). “St Paul’s is vast,” says David, “so you couldn’t do a little understated dress, it had to be something significant.” They conjured up a memorable ensemble.
