Summary

Be honest, when this drama about a New York mobster (Sylvester Stallone) relocating to Oklahoma started, did you think it would still be with us for season four? It is, and it has got there by slowly abandoning the fish-out-of-water premise to deliver gangster thrills that are less comedic than they were at the start while still being knowingly cheesy and peppered with Stallone’s trademark drawled wit.

His character, Dwight Manfredi, now a would-be whiskey tycoon, faces the shattering of his new southern empire at the hands of various enemies. His plan to get back on top against all the odds involves dabbling in casinos, wine, hip-hop, horse racing and a lot of shootouts.
