Summary

Bill Lawrence, one of the award-winning creatives responsible for Ted Lasso, masterminds this comedy based on Carl Hiaasen's best-selling novel. Andrew Yancy (Vince Vaughn) is a former Miami Police Department detective, on suspension for being reckless in the line of duty. He yearns to return to his old job but the closest he can come now to doling out justice is by enforcing excellent hygiene standards as a health inspector in the Florida Keys. When tourists fish a human arm out of the water, Andrew scents an opportunity to regain his badge if he can prove the appendage belongs to a murder victim. If you’re expecting Vince Vaughn to be playing a fast-talking, wisecracking womaniser in this murder mystery, you’d be…absolutely right. When a severed arm is found floating off the coast of Miami, former police officer Andrew Yancy (Vaughn) figures out that if he can crack the case, he might also be able to win back his job. And if he has to sarcastically flirt with a pathologist and potential suspect along the way — so be it!

Rob Delaney and Jodie Turner-Smith also pop up in the ensemble of a drama.
