Would I Lie to You? at Christmas
Summary
Rob Brydon hosts a festive edition of the game show in which team captains David Mitchell and Lee Mack are joined by celebrity guests to hoodwink their opponents with absurd facts and plausible lies about themselves. David is joined by Jimmy Carr and Laura Smyth, while Lee teams up with Rustie Lee and Lenny Rush
Review

Comedian Jimmy Carr might be known for his barking laugh — but he’s met his match in celebrity chef Rustie Lee, whose body-shaking guffaws threaten to derail this entire game. “The difference,” Lee Mack suggests to Carr, “is that hers sounds like it comes from the soul — yours sounds like you’re pressing a button.”
Still, both quirky chucklers are quickly upstaged in this festive special by WILTY’s youngest ever contestant, 15-year-old Lenny Rush. Best known for scripted roles in Am I Being Unreasonable? and Doctor Who, it turns out Rush is just as funny off-book, giving the grown-up comics a run for their money in some of the episode’s best off-the-cuff moments.
