Inside M&S at Christmas 2025
Summary
A special behind-the-scenes look at what makes Christmas so special at Marks & Spencer, offering unprecedented access during the retailer's busiest period. The programme follows the latest products in development, including a spicy glazed turkey crown, a festive makeover for Colin the Caterpillar, and a daring new cheese that is infused with black garlic, while store manager Ash oversees a multimillion-pound renovation in Northern Ireland that needs to be finished for Christmastime?
Review

For M&S, a strong Christmas is more important than ever, after this year’s crippling cyber-attack cost the high-street store more than £100m in profits. This one-off documentary — a useful piece of self-promotion — goes behind the scenes to find out what M&S has been doing in the hope of a successful festive season — from the Dawn French-fronted ad to the production of classic Christmas dishes and Colin the Caterpillar crackers. They’re certainly pulling out all the stops with their Tom Kerridge dish — a beef Wellington for six, costing an eyewatering £195.
