Summary
Two of the world's deadliest hitmen join forces to kill a powerful drug lord, but while one of them is only in it for the money, the other wants revenge for a brutal attack on his wife. The assassins have to battle not only their target's crime network but also Interpol agents assigned to stop their murderous mission. Action thriller, starring Jean-Claude Van Damme and Scott Adkins

Jean-Claude VanDamme and ScottAdkins are on bum-kicking duties in this lacklustre action yarn. They play contract killers who team up to take down a menacing drug lord, while corrupt interpol agents test everyone's allegiances. What should be an enjoyable slice of OTT action is hampered with a miserable tone that will leave you longing for a bygone era of one-liners and witty comebacks, when the axe kicks and back fists could fly without the need for brooding backstories and complex motivation. The film's biggest misgiving is the squandering of the skills of its martial arts legends. Van Damme and Adkins spend more time shooting guns than their mouths and more time throwing knives than hands. There's promise here - evidenced by the satisfying deployment of Chekhov's remote-controlled gun - but this is a losing game.
