There are shades of The Matrix in this modest but rewarding sci-fi thriller, which, like the latter, was shot in Australia. Michael Muhney is the ad man who starts losing his grip on reality when he discovers that he may have been living in a virtual world all along. There are no big names in the cast - although Australian TV watchers will recognise Blue Heelers regular Tasma Walton - but the performances are solid and director Michael Pattinson, who made the excellent conspiracy thriller Ground Zero, works well with a limited budget.
