Summary

Thriller starring Henry Thomas. While on a job at a remote Oregon cabin, plumber Bobby Mitchell inadvertently witnesses a murder and is forced to hide out in the crawlspace below. However, when the killers realise their cash stash is down there, too, Bobby is plunged into a bloody battle for survival.

Since playing Elliott in Steven Spielberg's ET the Extra-Terrestrial in 1982, Henry Thomas has avoided the pitfalls of being a former child star with such acclaimed work as Gangs of New York and Netflix horror series The Haunting of Hill House. In this effective survival thriller, he plays small-town plumber and new father Bobby, whose unwanted nickname as "the septic-tank Robin Hood" reflects his charitable approach to payment. However, that kindness is put painfully to the test when he is trapped in the crawlspace of a remote Oregon cabin by armed robbers looking for a stash of cash. Wounded, scared and incommunicado, Bobby resorts to the tools of his trade to fight back against his tormentors. Thomas convinces as his character's natural bonhomie turns to brutality, while director L Gustavo Cooper introduces plenty of wry humour to leaven the bloody action.
