Ray Milland directs and stars in this interesting but ultimately disappointing tale of a barrister vowing revenge against the hit-and-run driver who killed his daughter. But he ends up questioning his own sanity when he finds himself in the dock for the murder of his neighbour. This courtroom drama was written for the screen by Jack Roffey from his own play and, sadly, it shows - the script still reads as though it's meant for the stage and the actors emote as if they are trying to reach a live audience. Missable.
