To commemorate the 25th anniversary of The Office, the Beeb has reunited two of its stars. Martin Freeman and Mackenzie Crook (who played prankster Tim and jobsworth Gareth respectively) apparently haven’t seen each other in 15 years, but reunite here to look back on their time clocking in at Wernham Hogg. Expect classic clips, audition bombshells, awful haircut anecdotes and plenty of reflections on the roles that helped kickstart their careers. After all, if not for The Office, would we have had Crook’s brilliant sitcoms Detectorists and Small Prophets? Not to mention Freeman’s Hollywood career in The Hobbit and Black Panther movies. From selling reams of A4 to flying spaceships in the Marvel universe – now that’s career progression.
