Another of John Wayne's many films for poverty row studio Monogram, so like all the others that it's virtually impossible to tell them apart. Once again stunt specialist Yakima Canutt plays the baddie and the Duke's undercover agent has to call on the help of suspicious locals to bring him to book. It hardly matters that Canutt is running a counterfeiting operation out of a cave on the Mexican border. What matters is that there are plenty of scenes of horses galloping across the brush and a few fist fights - on this count director Carl Pierson more than delivers the goods.
