Summary

Love means framing your wife's secret suitor for a crime he didn't commit in a twisty comedy thriller directed by BenDavid Grabinski. Vengeful crime lord Sosa (Keith David) is incensed when his son Jimmy Boy (Jimmy Tatro) is sent to prison for six years because of testimony from a traitor in the ranks. Right-hand man Nick (Vince Vaughn) is entrusted with executing this rat but he manipulates the situation to his own advantage. His wife Alice (Eiza Gonzalez) is having an affair with fellow heavy Mike (James Marsden) and Nick frames Mike for Jimmy Boy's fall from grace to permanently erase his competitor for Alice's affections. The diabolical plan is derailed by a wacky turn of events and Sosa calls in a cannibalistic killer known as The Barron to clear up the mess

Jaded gangster "Quick Draw" Mike (James Marsden) is desperate to run away with the love of his life, Alice (Eiza González), but she's married to his best friend Nick (Vince Vaughn). But their problems don't end there - after a spot of time travel, there are now two Nicks! Meanwhile, a Mob boss (Keith David) wants Mike dead, and there's a cannibal assassin on the loose... worst of all, nobody can agree on how Gilmore Girls ended. Writer/director BenDavid Grabinski takes stylistic cues from Guy Ritchie - quick cuts, banging soundtrack - while riffing on the laid-back comedy of The Big Lebowski and the weirdness and brutality of John Wick. Vaughn plays both versions of himself with his customary nonchalance, while a supporting cast of quirky villains are also given plenty to work with. Grabinski skilfully knits his many subplots and brawling chaos into an enjoyably inventive buddy movie - although beware of those Gilmore spoilers.
