Narinder Flora

This misfiring thriller marks one of the lowest points in Tom Berenger's rollercoaster career. He stars as an unlikely Catholic priest caught up in a totally bewildering plot revolving around murder and the Mafia. Poor writing, direction and acting must have left Berenger (Oscar-nominated for his role in Oliver Stone's Platoon two years earlier) wondering how he got talked into this one. Writer/director Donald P Bellisario, the man behind Magnum PI, raced back to TV with Quantum Leap.
