When dramatist Oliver Emanuel died 150 days after being diagnosed with a brain tumour, he was partway through a new radio play. He had found it too difficult to finish and had switched to recording his response to his predicament.
His wife Victoria Beesley was with him for every step of his illness and here, with director Kirsty Williams, she has spliced together the unfinished play with his final writings to create this truthful and poetic account of his and her experience of his cancer. A magnificent tribute.
