Johnathon Hughes

Soap writer Johnathon covers all your favourite soaps from EastEnders to Coronation Street, Hollyoaks to Emmerdale as well as Neighbours and Home and Away. You can find him keeping up to speed with all the twists and turns in TV’s most enduring, popular and prolific genre, which – shockingly - amounts to around 15 hours a week of viewing. Johnathon is the former editor of All About Soap magazine, and has also written for Digital Spy, Soaplife, TV Times, Inside Soap, What’s On TV, TV & Satellite Week, TV Years. He's appeared on BBC News and BBC national and local radio. He's also a scriptwriter and featured on the judging panel of the Royal Television Society and British Soap Awards. As well as being a dedicated soap enthusiast Johnathon has a love and obsessive knowledge of 80s and 90s pop culture.
