BBC Radio 1's Big Weekend is drawing to a close for another year, after three days of huge live music moments at Sunderland's Herrington Country Park.

The annual music festival returned to Wearside from Friday 22 May to Sunday 24 May, marking its first appearance in the area for 21 years.
Friday night saw Fatboy Slim headline the opening dance party, with Sonny Fodera, FISHER, MK, Danny Howard and Ewan McVicar also among the acts kicking off the weekend.
Saturday then brought another starry line-up, with Zara Larsson, Ellie Goulding, Louis Tomlinson, Lola Young, Nothing But Thieves and Skye Newman all performing on the Main Stage.
The festival now heads into its final day, with Olivia Dean set to headline Sunday’s bill. She’ll be joined by CMAT, Niall Horan, Dermot Kennedy, Kehlani and Myles Smith, while the New Music Stage features the likes of Ezra Collective, FLO, Holly Humberstone, Jorja Smith, Maisie Peters and Odeal.
Dean has had a huge 2026 so far following the release of her album The Art of Loving, which saw her become the first solo British female artist to simultaneously claim the number one album and number one single spots on the UK Official Charts since Adele in 2021.
CMAT, meanwhile, released her third album Euro-Country last year to widespread acclaim, while Horan recently revealed that he has finished work on his next album and shared snippets of new music with fans.
As ever, fans who missed out on tickets will still be able to keep up with the action, with sets and highlights available across BBC iPlayer, BBC Sounds and Radio 1.
But who else is performing at Radio 1's Big Weekend 2026? Read on for the full confirmed line-up.
