Noah Wyle is the talk of the town. As new American streaming service HBO Max finally launches in the UK and Ireland, it is spearheaded by the universally acclaimed, endlessly awarded and utterly superlative medical drama, The Pitt. More than 25 years after ER, Wyle is back in scrubs – but comparisons would be reductive, especially given the astonishing authenticity of this new project. You can read Wyle reflect on his career trajectory here, and even see how a doctor verifies the attention to detail in The Pitt here.
