MOTD Live: FIFA World Cup 2026 | Scotland v Brazil
2026
Sport
Scotland v Brazil (Kick-off 11.00pm). Kelly Cates presents coverage of the Group C match at Miami Stadium in the USA. Brazil have been far from their imperious best so far in this tournament, but still have four points from two matches, while Scotland's win against Haiti may be enough to see them qualify, irrespective of the result here. There have been 10 previous meetings between these nations, four of which have been at the World Cup, and Scotland are still seeking a first-ever victory over the Seleção. The South Americans won three of those four World Cup clashes, the most recent of which was in the opening match of France '98 when an unlucky own-goal by Tom Boyd gave Brazil a 2-1 win, after a John Collins penalty drew Scotland level following a goal in the fifth minute by Cesar Sampaio. The last time they faced each other was a 2011 friendly at Arsenal's Emirates Stadium, when a teenage Neymar scored both goals in a 2-0 victory, at a time when he had yet to make his reputation as one the leading players in world football, two years before he moved to Barcelona from Santos

Sport
Switzerland v Canada (Kick-off 8.00pm). Mark Pougatch presents coverage of both teams' concluding Group B match, held at BC Place Vancouver in Canada. The only previous meeting between these nations was a friendly match in 2002 that took place on Swiss soil, and saw the Canadians claim a 3-1 victory. This time around, both teams look all but certain to advance to the last 32 after each taking four points from their matches against Bosnia and Herzegovina and Qatar, with the co-hosts just needing a draw to guarantee top spot due to their superior goal difference

Sport
Bosnia and Herzegovina v Qatar (Kick-off 8.00pm). Coverage of the Group B match at Seattle Stadium in the USA. Bosnia and Herzegovina earned a 1-1 draw with Canada in their opener with Canada, before succumbing to a 4-1 defeat at the hands of Switzerland, despite the match still being goalless until the 74th minute, meaning they now realistically need a win to have a chance of progressing to the round of 32. It was a similar story for Qatar in their first two games, with them earning a shock draw against the Swiss, before things unravelled against the Canadians, as they had two men sent off in a 6-0 hammering, and now only their first-ever victory at a World Cup finals will save them from elimination

MOTD Live: FIFA World Cup 2026 | Morocco v Haiti
2026
Sport
Morocco v Haiti (Kick-off 11.00pm). Coverage of the Group C match at Atlanta Stadium in the USA. Morocco have impressed so far, drawing with Brazil and beating Scotland, while Haiti have only pride to play for having already been eliminated. Not only is this the first-ever meeting between these nations, but it is also the first competitive game against a Caribbean team for Morocco, and a maiden competitive contest for Haiti against African opposition. By qualifying for this tournament, Haiti became the first Caribbean nation to qualify for a second time after first appearing in 1974, and while they are one of two nations from the region at this tournament, alongside Curaçao, there have only been five total Caribbean teams to compete at a World Cup, the last being Trinidad & Tobago in 2006. Morocco are one of nine African teams at this year's event, which is only the second time there have been more than five countries from the continent at any one tournament, with the previous record being six competitors at the 2010 World Cup, which was held in South Africa

MOTD Live: FIFA World Cup 2026 | Czechia v Mexico
Sport
Czechia v Mexico (Kick-off 2.00am). Coverage of the Group A match at Mexico City Stadium. The Mexicans were undefeated in the six matches they played here when hosting the 1970 and 1986 World Cups, and have continued in the same vein this time around, with a victory over South Africa here, before another win in Zapopan against South Korea ensured they were the first team to secure a place in the round of 32 and top spot in the group. In contrast, the Czechs have disappointed so far, collecting just one point against the South Africans, but a win would almost certainly send them through, either in second or as one of the best third-place teams

MOTD Live: FIFA World Cup 2026 | South Africa v South Korea
2026
Sport
South Africa v South Korea (Kick-off 2.00am). Coverage of the Group A match at Monterrey Stadium in Mexico. The South Africans are yet to win a match, losing their opener 2-0 to Mexico, before earning their first point with a 1-1 draw against Czechia, but a win in this contest would still likely be enough to see them progress to the round of 32. South Korea got off to a good start with a 2-1 victory over the Czechians, but then lost 1-0 to the co-hosts, though should just need a point to be sure of advancing, and there is a possibility of them qualifying as one of the best third-placed teams even if they lose should Czechia fail to defeat Mexico
