Returning for a second season, Tulsa King is set to continue the gripping story of Dwight "The General" Manfredi, played by Sylvester Stallone, who captivated audiences with his portrayal of a mafia capo banished to Tulsa, Oklahoma, to set up a new criminal empire. With his signature intensity, Stallone embodies Manfredi, a tough and calculating mobster who now faces new challenges in the heartland of America. Season 2 promises more high-stakes action, sharp dialogue, and fierce power struggles as Dwight attempts to expand his empire while battling old enemies and new threats.
For fans of complex and thrilling crime dramas, Tulsa King offers everything you’d expect from a Hollywood-calibre production. The show, crafted by Yellowstone creator Taylor Sheridan, pairs compelling storytelling with top-tier acting and jaw-dropping visuals. Stallone’s portrayal of Manfredi earned rave reviews during season 1, and his return in season 2 brings a new level of tension and excitement as he navigates the ever-dangerous criminal underworld.
The new season introduces several fresh faces, including Frank Grillo as Bill Bevilacqua and Neal McDonough as Cal Thresher, two formidable antagonists who further complicate Dwight’s quest for power. Grillo, known for his roles in Captain America and The Purge franchise, brings a menacing presence as a Kansas City mobster, while McDonough, a fan favourite from Desperate Housewives and Arrow, portrays a local businessman with an iron grip on Tulsa's marijuana trade. These new adversaries ensure that season 2 is filled with explosive confrontations and high drama, keeping viewers on the edge of their seats.

With looming threats from the Kansas City mob and powerful local forces, Dwight's struggles extend beyond just maintaining control of his new territory. The stakes are higher than ever as he battles to protect his crew and family, all while keeping track of unresolved business back in New York. The dynamic between these forces and Dwight’s relentless ambition promises plenty of surprises...
The strength of Tulsa King lies in its ability to deliver both thrilling crime drama and moments of unexpected levity. Stallone, known for his action-packed roles, injects a unique charisma into Dwight Manfredi, offering layers to a character who is as humorous as he is ruthless. This combination of action, wit, and drama makes the show an unmissable entry in the autumn slate of must-watch television.
But Tulsa King is just one part of the exciting offerings on Paramount+ this autumn. Alongside it is the return of Lioness, another popular series that has drawn praise for its intense, edge-of-your-seat drama and features a spectacular all-star cast including Zoe Saldaña, Nicole Kidman and Morgan Freeman.
Additionally, fans of Yellowstone can rejoice as the epic series makes its highly anticipated return, further solidifying Paramount+ as the ultimate destination for premium drama. Finally, Landman, a brand-new original series, is set to add even more excitement to the line-up, offering fresh storytelling and new characters for audiences to fall in love with.
For those seeking their autumn drama fix, Paramount+ has curated the perfect lineup. With the return of Tulsa King and these other major hits, fans can immerse themselves in gripping narratives and dynamic characters, all set against stunning cinematic backdrops. Whether you’re a fan of intense crime dramas, heart-pounding thrillers, or epic Westerns, Paramount+ is your go-to streaming platform this season.
