Hot off the sparkly pink heels of the hugely successful Barbie, Margot Robbie’s production company has picked up the film rights to The Sims. If she thought that making a feature based on a doll was tricky, she will surely savour the challenge of adapting a game where the characters talk in gibberish and a player can sit for hours building a house without any story playing out whatsoever.
