Nintendo
- Rob Leane
Despite having long been console-selling rivals, Nintendo has teamed up with Sony to produce a live-action movie based on its long-running Legend of Zelda franchise. With the film not due out until 2027, no casting is confirmed yet for the roles of hat-wearing hero Link and prone-to-being-captured Princess Zelda, but Wes Ball (The Maze Runner, Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes) is directing and the producers include Hollywood mainstay Avi Arad, who was involved in all the Spider-Man films and their numerous questionable spin-offs.
