RETURN OF THE RINGS
It's almost time to return to Middle-earth, as series two of The Lord of the Rings: the Rings of Power is returning this summer, with all episodes to air on Amazon Prime Video on 29 August. The spin-off series to JRR Tolkien's legendary fantasy series was criticised during its first run for lacking in action. Now, a new trailer for the second instalment suggests new episodes packed with battle scenes, clashes between power-hungry leaders and an unsettling look at the villainous Sauron's new form as "The Lord of Gifts", Annatar. Loyal LotR fans will know to expect a lot of ancient lore, talking trees and, of course, epic battles.
