You were right about there being all-female Traitors at the start this year.

I knew this series would be different from the past two. And when I first arrived at the castle, the most obvious thing was that there were really confident, well-spoken girls.

Are men or women better Traitors?

Definitely women because they’re underestimated. This is an empowering series. I would’ve been a better Traitor than a Faithful, because I’m training to be an opera singer and am a good performer.

As a real Welsh person, how did you feel when you found out Charlotte was putting on her Welsh accent?

Shocked. When I told her I was from Wales, she quickly changed the narrative to, “I’ve been living in London for years so my accent is faded,” so she covered her tracks well.

Lisa and Leanne also concealed their true identities. Is it a good tactic?

I associated being a Faithful with being your true self, so it caught me off guard. Now, I think it’s a good idea to play a character. Your personality is overanalysed.

Did you think you would be so emotional?

Watching series one and two, I thought, “Why are they crying so much? It’s not that deep.” I feel so bad for that now! You have no contact with the outside world, so it’s your entire life. As much as I hate the fact I cried on national television, I’m proud, too. It’s OK to cry. I kept screaming in my head to compose myself every five seconds. I didn’t watch my exit episode because I didn’t want to relive that. But I felt a lot of relief when I was banished
